MSU Chocolate Party Feb 28, 2016!

Minions at a Chocolate Party?

We’ll be at the Chocolate Party, will you? Do you know the movie Minions? Just imagine Stewart, Bob and Kevin let loose to save the last remaining chocolate factory! (I see a movie script in my future….) Well, there won’t be actual Minions at the MSU Chocolate Party, but this year culinary competitors will create elaborate and edible masterpieces inspired by the feature film Minions!

2016 marks the 27th year that the Kellogg Center at Michigan State University has been transformed to a Chocolate Lovers Paradise!  And this year is no exception. Back by popular demand, the Cocoa Cottage Bed and Breakfast will once again join the wonderfully crazy Chocolate Lovers, Chocolate Makers and Chocolate Judges. This Chocolate filled day of tasting, fun and prizes is all for a great cause: The MSU Museum of Science and Culture.

View prize-winning creations from the chocolate party competition. You won’t believe your eyes! You can talk with the chocolate artists about their passion and love of all things chocolate! Take photographs and be inspired for your own next chocolate creations!

Sample chocolate confections from our region’s leading food purveyors. The Cocoa Cottage Bed and Breakfast will be sampling one of our newest chocolate delights enjoyed by guests!

People’s Choice Award – select your favorite. Be sure to cast your vote for the Cocoa Cottage Bed and Breakfast!

Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center

Aside from all that wonderful chocolate,  the MSU Museum will feature exhibits showcasing a number of artifacts and specimens from the science and culture collections.  The MSU Museum’s collections represent the wonders of the natural and cultural world. Proceeds from the annual Chocolate Party Benefit help fund proper care of the Museum’s collections – ensuring preservation and access by future generations. Always interesting and a “treat” for the eyes and soul.
